Google Business Profile · Monticello area, MN

Own the map pack in your town.

For 'near me' searches, your Google Business Profile matters more than your website. It is the listing that shows up in Google Maps and the local pack, and it drives the majority of local calls. Most businesses set it up halfway and leave money on the table. We set it up completely and keep it working.

Common questions

Why does my Google Business Profile matter so much?

For local 'near me' searches it matters more than your website. It is where most local calls start, and its signals are the biggest single factor in local map-pack ranking.

What is the most important setting?

Your primary category. Choosing the most specific accurate category (for example 'emergency plumber' instead of 'plumber') is the single most powerful thing you can set.

How many reviews do I need?

Aim for at least 20. Nearly half of consumers will not consider a business with fewer than that. Steady is better than a burst: a few new reviews every month beats fifty at once.

Should I respond to reviews?

Yes, to as many as you can. Responding builds trust with future customers and is itself a ranking signal. Reply to the good and the bad.
